We are looking to build our team at Books on Main. Booksellers assist customers, process sales at the register, and help keep the store organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities also include fulfilling orders, stocking shelves with books and other merchandise, completing cleaning duties, and handling other store tasks as needed. Booksellers will also help facilitate our used book buyback program, which involves evaluating and sorting through books that customers bring in.

This is a great position for someone who is reliable, loves books, enjoys talking to people about books, and is comfortable working in a busy retail environment. This position involves regular shelving, organizing, cleaning, and lifting boxes of books.

Requirements:

- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must be available to work year-round.
- Must have a broad knowledge of books, authors, and different genres.
- Must have customer service experience.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (book boxes are heavy!)
