All books are always final sale. Books cannot be returned or exchanged, with no exceptions. Gift cards & seasonal/holiday items are also final sale.

For other merchandise (besides books, gift cards, and seasonal/holiday items), you have 7 days to come back to request a return. Returns are for in-store credit only. A receipt is required for returning in-store purchases, with no exceptions. Items must be unopened, undamaged, and in the same condition they were purchased in. 

We accept returns for 7 days after your order was delivered for in-store credit. Items must be unopened, undamaged, and in the same condition they were purchased in. To request a return, first send us an email to booksonmain.cf@gmail.com with your order number and reasoning for return and wait for an acceptance email before mailing anything back. Once we have accepted the return, the items can be mailed back to our store at 205 Main Street, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. We are not able to cover the cost of shipping returned items back to us.
